Job Description:
As a Welder, your primary responsibility is the welding of pipes and tubes, whether they are single pieces or part of small series. This work mainly involves butt welding, ensuring neat and tight welds suitable for x-ray inspection. Your tasks include operating various machines, particularly TIG and MIG welding machines, to perform these welding jobs. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and it is vital to have relevant certificates.
Salary:
- €560 – €580 for a 40-hour workweek

Function Description:
Welding is a common technique used to join workpieces, where the ends of two elongated objects are joined together. Examples include welding pipes in line with each other and welding rails or metal plates in line with each other. Depending on the material and the application, different welding processes are suitable for creating a butt weld. The role may involve X-ray welding, an experimental process using high-energy X-rays to locally melt the material.
Function Requirements:
- Relevant work experience is advantageous.
- Experience with butt welding suitable for X-ray inspection.
- Proficiency in applying different techniques and working with various materials and tools.
- Candidates are expected to have a good command of the English language.
